EMMA'S JOURNEY TO BECOMING AN ETIQUETTE COACH
I was born and raised in the county of Gloucestershire, England, before relocating to London in 2002 to continue my career as a financial adviser in the City.
For over seven years, I had the privilege of working with an international clientele from many different cultural backgrounds.
As those professional relationships deepened, I began to notice a shared experience among many of my clients: a quiet uncertainty when it came to understanding British social customs and navigating the unspoken expectations of life in the UK. These conversations stirred something in me.
In 2010, I decided to follow a new path. I began my training with The English Manner, where I received my British Etiquette Consultant Certification in 2014.
I then worked with them on a consultancy basis for three years, representing the organisation in Shanghai, Beijing, and Nanchang. I was also honoured to develop and deliver a bespoke training programme for the staff of Fendi at their Rome headquarters.
Since 2015, I have been mentoring and coaching ladies through my own school, the Emma Dupont Etiquette School, based in the heart of London.
As a British etiquette expert, I’ve had the privilege of teaching over 500 women from 48 countries, sharing my knowledge of British social and business etiquette, cultural understanding, and feminine confidence.
I am a proud member of the Protocol & Diplomacy International – Protocol Officers Association, and I remain deeply committed to upholding the global standards for certified etiquette consultants.
It is from this lived experience, and a sincere respect for tradition, that I created my in-person and online etiquette course—to guide others through this journey with empathy, elegance, and care.
